Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection, which included the work Christ And The Apostles, A Suppliant Man Beside Them by Jacopo Palma. The price achieved of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,570.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo Palma achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venus wird von Amor gekrönt während Satyrn und eine Nymphe ihr Früchte reichen. in March 2007 with an auction result of CHF 453,500.00 (€ 279,614.25).

Im Juli 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Christ And The Apostles, A Suppliant Man Beside Them von Jacopo Palma zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.570,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacopo Palma erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venus wird von Amor gekrönt während Satyrn und eine Nymphe ihr Früchte reichen. im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 453.500,00 (€ 279.614,25).
