The work The Idolatry of Solomon by Jacopo Amigoni was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July last year. It achieved a price of GBP 201,600.00 (€ 240,746.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Admittedly, works by Jacopo Amigoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bacchus And Ariadne; Venus And Adonis in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,604,480.46).

Die Arbeit The Idolatry of Solomon von Jacopo Amigoni kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 201.600,00 (€ 240.746,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacopo Amigoni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bacchus And Ariadne; Venus And Adonis im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.098.500,00 (€ 1.604.480,46).
