Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of Princess Caroline Elizabeth (1713-1757), Daughter Of King George II, Three-Quarter-Length, In A Pink Dress And Ermine-Lined Cloak by Jacopo Amigoni was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction at Christies in London in December 2013. The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 60,142.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo Amigoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bacchus And Ariadne; Venus And Adonis in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,604,480.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of Princess Caroline Elizabeth (1713-1757), Daughter Of King George II, Three-Quarter-Length, In A Pink Dress And Ermine-Lined Cloak von Jacopo Amigoni wurde im Dezember 2013 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert.
