Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Portrait Of Carlo Broschi, Called Farinelli (1705-1782), Half Length, Wearing A Crimson Coat, A Tricorne Hat And Holding A Dove, With A Sheet Of Music by Jacopo Amigoni. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 158,500.00 (€ 181,113.88). Admittedly, works by Jacopo Amigoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bacchus And Ariadne; Venus And Adonis in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,098,500.00 (€ 1,604,480.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Carlo Broschi, Called Farinelli (1705-1782), Half Length, Wearing A Crimson Coat, A Tricorne Hat And Holding A Dove, With A Sheet Of Music von Jacopo Amigoni zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 158.500,00 (€ 181.113,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacopo Amigoni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bacchus And Ariadne; Venus And Adonis im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.098.500,00 (€ 1.604.480,46).
