This artwork by Jacob van Ruisdael achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2021. In the Old Master Prints auction, the work The Little Bridge (Bartsch, Le Blanc 1) sold for GBP 2,394.00 (€ 2,807.46) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob van Ruisdael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A wooded landscape with a man and two dogs on a path, a cottage beyond in July last year with an auction result of GBP 3,382,500.00 (€ 4,039,305.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacob van Ruisdael erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Prints wurde die Arbeit The Little Bridge (Bartsch, Le Blanc 1) für GBP 2.394,00 (€ 2.807,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob van Ruisdael erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A wooded landscape with a man and two dogs on a path, a cottage beyond im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.382.500,00 (€ 4.039.305,77).
