The work A panoramic view of Rome from the Porta del Popolo by Jacob van der Ulft was worth GBP 26,250.00 (€ 31,368.71) to a buyer in November 2010. This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of the Late John Appleby: A Channel Island Treasure House at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob van der Ulft - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of Tivoli from the north, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 63,065.72).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Collection of the Late John Appleby: A Channel Island Treasure House bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob van der Ulft mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View of Tivoli from the north beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 50.000,00 (€ 63.065,72) versteigert wurde.
