Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, which included the work Scène D'Adoration Devant Une Statue Colossale De Diane Chasseresse by Jacob Pynas. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob Pynas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moses And Aaron in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 57,034.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scène D'Adoration Devant Une Statue Colossale De Diane Chasseresse von Jacob Pynas zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob Pynas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moses And Aaron im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 57.034,22).
