The result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 56,706.57) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob de Heusch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rome, A View Of The Campo Vaccino, which sold at auction in December 2013 for GBP 110,500.00 (€ 132,914.36).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Capriccio Of The River Tiber In Rome von Jacob de Heusch kam im Juli 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 56.706,57) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob de Heusch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rome, A View Of The Campo Vaccino beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für GBP 110.500,00 (€ 132.914,36) versteigert wurde.
