This artwork by Jacob de Heusch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2020. In the The Rafael Valls Sale auction, the work A Capriccio Harbour Scene In A Mediterranean Bay sold for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 40,261.98) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob de Heusch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rome, A View Of The Campo Vaccino, which sold at auction in December 2013 for GBP 110,500.00 (€ 132,914.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacob de Heusch erzielte im April 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Rafael Valls Sale wurde die Arbeit A Capriccio Harbour Scene In A Mediterranean Bay für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 40.261,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob de Heusch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rome, A View Of The Campo Vaccino beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für GBP 110.500,00 (€ 132.914,36) versteigert wurde.
