Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Peinture abstraite (large) numéro cent cinq" by Jacob Dahlgren was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,446.79). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob Dahlgren - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Flipper VII"., which sold at auction in May 2010 for SEK 46,000.00 (€ 4,771.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Peinture abstraite (large) numéro cent cinq" von Jacob Dahlgren im Oktober 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.446,79) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacob Dahlgren mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Flipper VII". beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für SEK 46.000,00 (€ 4.771,44) versteigert wurde.
