Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Christies in London held the auction Handpicked: 50 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery, which included the work Portrait (Reverse) by Jackie Saccoccio. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,063.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jackie Saccoccio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait (Perspective), which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,699.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Handpicked: 50 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait (Reverse) von Jackie Saccoccio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.063,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jackie Saccoccio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait (Perspective) beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.699,89) versteigert wurde.
