The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,000.00 (€ 811.69), 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jackie Ferrara have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Arrakis Blue in June 2013 with an auction result of USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,564.18).

Die Arbeit Three-Part Study For Unexecuted A175, 1977 von Jackie Ferrara wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in Online versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 811,69) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jackie Ferrara auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Arrakis Blue im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.938,00 (€ 4.564,18).
