Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bound Goat by Jack Zajac was sold in the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,154.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jack Zajac have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bound Goat, Thursday, Circa 1973 in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 6,120.00 (€ 5,286.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bound Goat von Jack Zajac wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.275,00 (€ 1.154,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jack Zajac auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bound Goat, Thursday, Circa 1973 im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.120,00 (€ 5.286,34).
