Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Yellow Rising, 1970 by Jack Youngerman was sold in the Contemporary Art Online auction at Sothebys in Online in March 2018. The price achieved of USD 12,000.00 (€ 9,740.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jack Youngerman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work August, 1966 in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 93,825.00 (€ 84,155.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Yellow Rising, 1970 von Jack Youngerman wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in Online versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.000,00 (€ 9.740,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jack Youngerman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit August, 1966 im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.825,00 (€ 84.155,53).
