This artwork by Jack Youngerman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2021. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California auction, the work Blue White, 1961 sold for USD 4,462.50 (€ 3,854.63) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Youngerman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work August, 1966 in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 93,825.00 (€ 84,155.53).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jack Youngerman erzielte im September 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California wurde die Arbeit Blue White, 1961 für USD 4.462,50 (€ 3.854,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Youngerman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit August, 1966 im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.825,00 (€ 84.155,53).
