Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jack Pierson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in May last year. In the Photographies auction, the work Self Portrait # 4, 2003 sold for EUR 15,120.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Pierson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The One and Only in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 334,100.00 (€ 436,989.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jack Pierson erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographies wurde die Arbeit Self Portrait # 4, 2003 für EUR 15.120,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Pierson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The One and Only im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 334.100,00 (€ 436.989,69).
