This artwork by Jack Justice achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. In the A Dealer Is Selling Off auction, the work Parrot sold for EUR 1,440.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jack Justice; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in January 2006 with the realized price of EUR 1,560.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jack Justice erzielte im Januar 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion A Dealer Is Selling Off wurde die Arbeit Parrot für EUR 1.440,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jack Justice; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Januar 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 1.560,00.
