Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Composition by Jack Justice for EUR 360.00. This price was achieved in the auction Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale ! at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jack Justice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in January 2006 with an auction result of EUR 1,560.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Composition von Jack Justice für EUR 360,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale ! bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jack Justice auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.560,00.
