Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work The Pick Up by Jack Bilbo for GBP 600.00 (€ 886.96). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jack Bilbo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Medium in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,564.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Pick Up von Jack Bilbo für GBP 600,00 (€ 886,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jack Bilbo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Medium im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.564,08).
