In November 2001 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work A hound in a kennel by J. Watson. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 881.25 (€ 1,402.35). With this result, A hound in a kennel is even the most expensive work of art by J. Watson that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit A hound in a kennel von J. Watson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 881,25 (€ 1.402,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist A hound in a kennel sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von J. Watson, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
