Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Terriers rabbiting; and Terriers on a heath by J. Langlois was sold in the Sporting Art and Dogs auction at Christies in London in June 2002. The price achieved of GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,817.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by J. Langlois - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Terriers on the scent; and Terriers rabbiting, which sold at auction in November 2001 for GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,739.59).

Die Arbeit Terriers rabbiting; and Terriers on a heath von J. Langlois wurde im Juni 2002 in der Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.817,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von J.
