Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Verzameling by JCJ Vanderheyden was sold in the Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2010. The price achieved of EUR 375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by JCJ Vanderheyden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poort - Gate in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 32,200.00.

Die Arbeit Verzameling von JCJ Vanderheyden wurde im September 2010 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von JCJ Vanderheyden erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poort - Gate im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.200,00.
