The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 216.00 (€ 318.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ivor Lawson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2005 the work Carnival was auctioned for GBP 264.00 (€ 389.32).
