Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Woman with a sheaf by Ivar Johnsson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2017. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 15,500.00 (€ 1,576.82). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivar Johnsson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Uppvaknande Venus" (= Venus awakening), which sold at auction in December 2019 for SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,194.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Woman with a sheaf von Ivar Johnsson kam im Dezember 2017 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 15.500,00 (€ 1.576,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivar Johnsson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Uppvaknande Venus" (= Venus awakening) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.194,89) versteigert wurde.
