Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Untitled (boundaries) by Issy Wood. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 190,500.00 (€ 23,037.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Issy Wood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chalet in March last year with an auction result of GBP 441,000.00 (€ 522,855.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (boundaries) von Issy Wood zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 190.500,00 (€ 23.037,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Issy Wood erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chalet im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 441.000,00 (€ 522.855,13).
