Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dog With Pendants (Not as Close) by Issy Wood was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in June last year. The price achieved of HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 168,665.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,200,000.00 – 1,800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Issy Wood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chalet, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 441,000.00 (€ 522,855.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dog With Pendants (Not as Close) von Issy Wood kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 168.665,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.200.000,00 – 1.800.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Issy Wood mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chalet beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für GBP 441.000,00 (€ 522.855,13) versteigert wurde.
