Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction NOW: Art of the 21st Century Theme Sale, which included the work The Swimming Pool Etchings by Isca Greenfield-Sanders. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,393.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Isca Greenfield-Sanders have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Scarf in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 54,000.00 (€ 40,816.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion NOW: Art of the 21st Century Theme Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Swimming Pool Etchings von Isca Greenfield-Sanders zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.393,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isca Greenfield-Sanders auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Scarf im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 54.000,00 (€ 40.816,33).
