Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life Of Fruit In A Basket On A Ledge by Isaak Soreau was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 126,265.51) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Isaak Soreau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life Of Roses, Tulips, A White Lily, Poppy Anemones, Narcissi, Carnations, Columbine, Hyacinth, Snowdrop, Cyclamen, Fritillary, Cornflower, Lily-Of-The-Valley, Crocus, Forget-Me-Not And Other Flowers, In A Glass Beaker On A Wooden Table With Butterf in January 2009 with an auction result of USD 662,500.00 (€

Die Arbeit Still Life Of Fruit In A Basket On A Ledge von Isaak Soreau wurde im Juli 2013 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 110.500,00 (€ 126.265,51) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
