Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work Still Life With A Basket Of Flowers And Fruit by Isaak Soreau. The price achieved of GBP 233,000.00 (€ 276,854.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Isaak Soreau have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2009 the work Still Life Of Roses, Tulips, A White Lily, Poppy Anemones, Narcissi, Carnations, Columbine, Hyacinth, Snowdrop, Cyclamen, Fritillary, Cornflower, Lily-Of-The-Valley, Crocus, Forget-Me-Not And Other Flowers, In A Glass Beaker On A Wooden Table With Butterf was auctioned for USD 662,500.00 (€ 517,416.43).
