Bird was sold in the Victorian and British Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in June 2010. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,880.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait of Charles and Terrell Garnett of Undercliffe House, Bradford, full-length, in a landscape is the most expensive artwork by Isaac F. Bird that we have observed at auctions so far.
