Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work From Night Till Morn I Take My Glass by Isaac Robert Cruickshank for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,434.56). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and British Drawings Including Property from the Descendants of Walter Brandt at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Isaac Robert Cruickshank - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Laplanders, Reindeer &c. as Exhibited at the Egyptian Hall, Piccadilly. 1822.; and The Laplanders Return, to their Native Country under the Care of Mr Bullock & His Son., which sold at auction in September 2007 for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 5,018.74).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master and British Drawings Including Property from the Descendants of Walter Brandt bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
