Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Caminos estelares by Irma Palacios for USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,643.76). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Irma Palacios - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paisaje Sin Horizonte, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,180.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Caminos estelares von Irma Palacios für USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.643,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Irma Palacios mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paisaje Sin Horizonte beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.180,63) versteigert wurde.
