Auction result misses estimated price range
In July last year a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of a young girl, half-length by Ippolito Leoni for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,582.53). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900 at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Ippolito Leoni have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2002 by the work Tête de jeune homme moustachu aux cheveux longs at EUR 5,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of a young girl, half-length von Ippolito Leoni für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.582,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900 bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ippolito Leoni wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2002 die Arbeit Tête de jeune homme moustachu aux cheveux longs mit EUR 5.640,00.
