This artwork by Iosif Krachkovsky achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2008. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work Dusk on the river sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,505.26) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Iosif Krachkovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,500.00 (€ 252,746.70).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Iosif Krachkovsky erzielte im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wurde die Arbeit Dusk on the river für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.505,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Iosif Krachkovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.500,00 (€ 252.746,70).
