Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Church Of The Intercession Of Our Lady, Oreanda, Crimea by Iosif Krachkovsky was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in May 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 53,887.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Iosif Krachkovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,500.00 (€ 252,746.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Church Of The Intercession Of Our Lady, Oreanda, Crimea von Iosif Krachkovsky wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 53.887,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iosif Krachkovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.500,00 (€ 252.746,70).
