The work View Near Lubni, Ukraine by Iosif Krachkovsky was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 82,850.00 (€ 100,171.88), 66% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Iosif Krachkovsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 180,500.00 (€ 252,746.70).

Die Arbeit View Near Lubni, Ukraine von Iosif Krachkovsky wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 82.850,00 (€ 100.171,88) und damit 66% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Iosif Krachkovsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 180.500,00 (€ 252.746,70) versteigert wurde.
