The »bidding war« ended at USD 93,750.00 (€ 68,048.20), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ingrid Donat; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot 'Banquette Aux Caryatides' Settee, 2002 sold at auction in June 2021 with the realized price of USD 100,000.00 (€ 84,402.43).
