Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reality Blurred #2 by Indra Leonardi was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The price achieved of HKD 21,250.00 (€ 2,070.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Indra Leonardi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ugo, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,628.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reality Blurred #2 von Indra Leonardi wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 21.250,00 (€ 2.070,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Indra Leonardi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ugo beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.628,92) versteigert wurde.
