This artwork by Indra Leonardi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Organ For Sale sold for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,127.93) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Indra Leonardi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ugo sold at auction in October 2008 with the realized price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,628.92).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Indra Leonardi erzielte im April 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wurde die Arbeit Organ For Sale für HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.127,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Indra Leonardi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ugo im Oktober 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.628,92).
