This artwork by India Mahdavi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in May 2017. In the Limited Edition auction, the work Tabouret Bishop - 2006 sold for EUR 2,100.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by India Mahdavi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Domino sold at auction in April 2013 with the realized price of EUR 2,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von India Mahdavi erzielte im Mai 2017 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Limited Edition wurde die Arbeit Tabouret Bishop - 2006 für EUR 2.100,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von India Mahdavi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Domino im April 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 2.200,00.
