Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Imre Bak could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary East auction, the work Golden Tangle changed hands for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,281.56) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Imre Bak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Breaking Out (Diptych) in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 51,143.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Imre Bak konnte im November 2013 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary East wechselte die Arbeit Golden Tangle für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.281,56) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Imre Bak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Breaking Out (Diptych) im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 42.500,00 (€ 51.143,06).
