The work The Artist's Younger Brother by Imran Qureshi was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in June 2010. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,201.16), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Imran Qureshi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Garden Within, which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 42,500.00 (€ 49,805.80).

Die Arbeit The Artist's Younger Brother von Imran Qureshi wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.201,16) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Imran Qureshi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Garden Within beobachtet, die im März 2017 für GBP 42.500,00 (€ 49.805,80) versteigert wurde.
