The work Magnolia Blossom by Imogen Cunningham was auctioned at Bonhams in December last year. It achieved a price of USD 10,200.00 (€ 9,534.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Imogen Cunningham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calla in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 350,000.00 (€ 312,472.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Magnolia Blossom von Imogen Cunningham kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 9.534,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Imogen Cunningham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calla im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 350.000,00 (€ 312.472,10).
