Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of Countess Vera Kankrina by Ilya Repin was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2018. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,595.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ilya Repin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Parisian Café in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 4,521,250.00 (€ 5,001,922.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of Countess Vera Kankrina von Ilya Repin wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.595,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ilya Repin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Parisian Café im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.521.250,00 (€ 5.001.922,73).
