Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,595.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ilya Repin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Parisian Café in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 4,521,250.00 (€ 5,001,922.73).
