The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,813.61) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Igor Ershov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A group of eleven illustrations for the Khorovod book of Russian fairytales in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 7,250.00 (€ 9,164.24).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.813,61) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Igor Ershov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A group of eleven illustrations for the Khorovod book of Russian fairytales im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.250,00 (€ 9.164,24).
