Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Zonder titel (compositie vijf maal vijf blauw-wit) by Ien Lucas was sold in the Pictures Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ien Lucas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2008 the work Untitled (from the series 'Hot Spot') was auctioned for EUR 4,000.00.

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
