The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ien Lucas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (from the series 'Hot Spot'), which sold at auction in February 2008 for EUR 4,000.00.
