A top price for Ida Rentoul Outhwaite - as previously expected
In August 2004 Christies in Sydney held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work I Am Kexy, Friend To Fairies by Ida Rentoul Outhwaite. It changed hands for a price of AUD 23,900.00 (€ 13,871.53) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, I Am Kexy, Friend To Fairies is the most expensive artwork by Ida Rentoul Outhwaite that we have observed at auctions so far.
