Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Iba N'Diaye was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in July 2021. The price achieved of EUR 1,386.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Iba N'Diaye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Signare in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 40,320.00 (€ 47,768.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Iba N'Diaye kam im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.386,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Iba N'Diaye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Signare im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.320,00 (€ 47.768,31).
