Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le peintre et son modèle by Iba N'Diaye was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,877.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Iba N'Diaye have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2021 the work La Signare was auctioned for GBP 40,320.00 (€ 47,768.31).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.877,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Iba N'Diaye konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2021 die Arbeit La Signare für GBP 40.320,00 (€ 47.768,31) versteigert.
